May 2017 - MAJOR NEWS: FedEx Ground announces long-term plan for overlap contracting condition

FedEx Ground will begin to contract only for CSAs that include both Ground and Home Delivery services in the entire geographic area.  This combined-service CSA contracting condition, which will apply to businesses providing services out of co-locations, is essential to meet the needs of the evolving market.

  • For ISP transitions that begin after January 18th, overlap contracting conditions will be in effect when negotiating an initial ISP Agreement during the transition.
  • For all other districts (including current ISPs; and ISPs currently transitioning or beginning transition in 2017), overlap contracting conditions will be in effect when negotiating any ISP agreement beginning June 1, 2021.
  • For stand-alone stations, overlap contracting conditions will be in effect with prior notification, in the event that the station becomes co-located in the future
